Terms of Service
Effective April 3, 2026
Hi there. I'm Isaac, the developer behind Threaded Pixel Studios, LLC ("Threaded Pixel Studios," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sheetuation and any other web applications released by Threaded Pixel Studios (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using any of the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
1. The Services
Threaded Pixel Studios builds web applications for individuals:
- Sheetuation — A personal planner with project boards, a rolling calendar, and a daily time-blocking queue.
Additional apps may be added over time. When they are, these Terms apply to them as well unless stated otherwise.
2. Accounts
2.1 Account Creation
Some features of the Services require an account. When available, you can sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2.2 No Account Required for Some Features
Certain features do not require an account. By using these features, you still agree to these Terms.
2.3 Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or using the Services. Don't impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for anything unlawful or harmful.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other users' accounts, or the underlying infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services (e.g., through automated scraping, denial-of-service attacks, or malicious code).
- Use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm others.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services, except where permitted by law.
- Resell or redistribute the Services without written permission.
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.
4. Payments and Subscriptions
The Services are currently free. A paid tier may be introduced in the future. If and when paid features are added:
- The core features will remain free (freemium model).
- Payment processing will be handled by a third-party provider (likely Stripe). At that time, this section will be updated with full details on billing, cancellation, refunds, and pricing.
- Existing users will be notified of any changes before paid features take effect.
5. User Content
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Services (tasks, projects, calendar entries, etc.). By using the Services, you grant Threaded Pixel Studios a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.
5.2 Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you create and share. Don't use the Services to store or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.
5.3 Content Removal
If you delete your content or your account, I will remove your data from active systems within a reasonable timeframe. Some data may persist in backups for a limited period before being purged.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our IP
The Services — including the code, design, branding, and documentation — are owned by Threaded Pixel Studios, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.
6.2 Feedback
If you send suggestions, feature requests, or other feedback, I may use them freely without obligation to you. You won't be compensated for feedback unless we agree to that separately in writing.
7. Third-Party Services
The Services integrate with or rely on third-party providers, including:
- Vercel (hosting)
- Neon (database)
- Google (authentication via OAuth)
Additional providers (such as a payment processor) may be added as the Services evolve. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Threaded Pixel Studios is not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.
8. Children and COPPA
The current Services are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
Future apps by Threaded Pixel Studios may be designed for younger audiences. If and when that happens, those apps will include additional safeguards and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations. Specific terms for child-directed apps will be provided at that time.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Services, please contact me at support@threadedpixelstudios.com so I can take appropriate action.
9. Availability and Modifications
9.1 No Guarantees of Uptime
I'm a solo developer doing my best. The Services are provided on an "as-is" basis. I aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, and the occasional bug are part of the deal.
9.2 Changes to the Services
I may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Services at any time. For paid features, I'll provide reasonable notice before removing functionality you're paying for.
10. Termination
10.1 By You
You can stop using the Services at any time. If you have an account, you can request deletion by emailing support@threadedpixelstudios.com.
10.2 By Me
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. In cases of serious misuse, termination may be immediate.
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. Sections of these Terms that should reasonably survive termination (such as Limitation of Liability and Governing Law) will continue to apply.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. I do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Threaded Pixel Studios, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. If liability is established despite the above, the total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to Threaded Pixel Studios in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
This isn't about dodging responsibility — it's about being realistic. I'm one person building tools I care about, not a company with a legal department.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Threaded Pixel Studios, LLC and its members from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the state where Threaded Pixel Studios, LLC is registered.
I'd genuinely prefer to resolve things over email before lawyers get involved.
15. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. When I do, I'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you through the Services.
Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Threaded Pixel Studios, LLC regarding the Services.
